Ghost Town ?
La Ventana, New Mexico is a flea speck on the map(some maps). A town of 4 people the last time I talked to them. A new healer puppy canges things. This is no longer a ghost town, but a heroic effort on the part of Bill Huyssoon, His Mother "Hildred", and his dedicated staff and volunteers. An effort to give a GED education to the forgotton students and their needs in the northwest of NM. Please contact them if You need help or think that you can help them. Back to the woodwork. In doing repairs, renovations and demolition in the time I spent in La Ventana, I collected some interesting pieces of wood either bleached or faded by the sun, burnt from forest fires, scrap from sawmills, the list goes on and on. I re-used as much as I can into the GTW projects. I hope you enjoy them.
